LAND IM KLANG – A large-scale outdoor multimedia work with live multiple projections on the 80-meter high tower (Klangturm) by video-artist Ulli Sigg and music by Alvin Curran. Commissioned by the Klangturm of St. Poelten, Austria for the inaugural event (November 1996). This work is based on intricate sampled material from local sources and is mixed with a MIDI Grand Piano, four percussionists (widely spaced), an electric violin player (Mia Zabelka) suspended overhead from a crane, and two Disk Jockeys live. Minimum duration 30 minutes.
